Season 6 USA BBB 15 WESTERN CONFERENCE CHAMPIONS
About our Team
The team was started season 2 as the Las Calinos Sooners. They played in the USA BBB 15 until the team was disbanded and sold at the end of season 3.
The Rocky Mountain Thunder started their franchise at the end of season 3. Co-owned by the the brothers, foppa9601 and jcb1018, they began the rebuilding process. Only three live players, a basic stadium, and $500,000 in cash, the team began.
Season 4 was a rebuilding process with the team going 4 and 12. The end of season 4 looked brighter as the the last of the CPU's left the roster.
Season 5 the Thunder reached it goal of making the playoffs with a 8 and 8 record. Loosing in the first round gave the team the inspiration to reach the playoffs in season 6 and compete for a title.
Season 6 the Thunder went 14 and 2 and won the Western Conference Championship in the USA BBB sending the team to USA A in season 7. Although the team came up short in the league championship, we are well positioned to be competitive in season 7.
Season 7 saw the Thunder posted a 12-4 record and lose the last game of the season to their conference rivals (Sioux Falls Storm) and loose home field for the playoffs. They rebounded game one with a win but lost in the second round sending the team home early.
Season 8, the Thunder took an early exit losing in the first round of the playoffs. Although very disappointed, it will give the team the inspiration they need to be a top contender in the league for a title in season 9.
Season 9, again the Thunder is returning over 97% of it players for another year. Let the Thunder roll!
